I've got everything I need to start the new year off right.
In December all but one of my book sales came from Barnes & Noble.
That one sale was from Amazon.
My Quiller is still having a helluva rough time.
But not for much longer.
In 1997 I wrote a kid's story based on an original idea. Submitted it directly to publishers. Someone at one of those publishing companies sent me a long list of names and addresses of literary agents. At the time, I didn't know what to do with the list. I also didn't understand this was an awesome thing to have happen. I filed the list away. It's been there ever since. The publisher was Simon and Schuster. I'm thinking about rewriting that story this fall and self-publishing it before Christmas. If it is as successful as I think it'll be, I'll turn it into a series next year.
In 2014 I'm looking forward with confidence.
Cheers!
